Please review the terms governing our services
By engaging the services of Maintenance Masters ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Maintenance Masters, including but not limited to snow removal, ice management, landscaping, pressure washing, and window washing. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
Maintenance Masters provides professional property maintenance services including snow removal, ice management, de-icing, salting, landscaping, pressure washing, and window washing for commercial and residential properties in North Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver area. The specific scope, frequency, and details of services for each client are outlined in individual service contracts or agreements. Any work beyond the agreed scope may require a separate agreement and additional charges.
All invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified in your service agreement. Maintenance Masters accepts payment by cheque, e-transfer, and credit card. We offer flat monthly rate options as well as per-visit pricing. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at a rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. Maintenance Masters reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services for accounts with outstanding balances past 30 days due.
While we strive to provide timely and reliable service, certain factors beyond our control may cause delays. Extreme weather events, road closures, equipment malfunctions, and force majeure events may affect our ability to deliver services on schedule. In such cases, Maintenance Masters will communicate scheduling adjustments to affected clients as promptly as possible and make every reasonable effort to resume normal service at the earliest opportunity.
Maintenance Masters shall not be held liable for damages, injuries, or losses arising from acts of nature, extreme weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Clients are responsible for ensuring their property is properly prepared for service, including removing vehicles, personal items, and obstacles from service areas. Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Clients must provide clear and safe access to all areas requiring service. This includes ensuring driveways, walkways, parking areas, and other service zones are accessible to our crew and equipment. If our team is unable to access the property or service area due to locked gates, parked vehicles, construction, or other obstructions, the scheduled visit may be marked as completed and standard charges may apply. Repeated access issues may incur additional charges for return visits.
Either party may cancel a service agreement by providing a minimum of 14 days written notice. Cancellation notices should be sent via email to Luke@maintenancemasters.ca or by mail to our office address. Any services rendered up to the effective cancellation date will be invoiced and are due upon receipt. Seasonal contracts that are cancelled mid-season may be subject to a pro-rated adjustment based on services already delivered.
Any changes to the scope of services, service frequency, or property specifications must be communicated in writing and agreed upon by both parties. Significant changes may require an updated service agreement and may affect pricing. Maintenance Masters will provide revised quotes for any material changes to the agreed scope of work before proceeding.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Maintenance Masters, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the Client's breach of these terms, misuse of services, or negligent acts or omissions. This indemnification obligation does not apply to claims arising from Maintenance Masters' gross negligence or willful misconduct.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
Maintenance Masters reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website or upon written notification to existing clients. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage clients to review these terms periodically.
